Education if necessary
Our First Aid courses are necessary education, as they are a requirement for people employed in these frontline industries:

It's vital during this COVID-19 pandemic that our students have clarity regarding our First Aid Training Courses.
We continue to operate inline with government guidelines.

We continue to make every attempt to safeguard the health and safety of our staff and students by implementing additional hygiene measures.
Since Monday 16th March 2020 we have implemented the following hygiene measures;
Students are required to bring their own personal hand sanitiser for use during class to:
Reduce common touchpoint surfaces
Mitigate against cross-infection
Mitigate against the potential for short supply given the unreliable supply chains for bulk PPE at this time
Single-use examination gloves available for practical assessments
New bandages available for use during practical demonstrations
Thorough hand washing required prior to course commencement and at break time/s
Reasonable adjustments made to practical assessment to avoid student contact during practical demonstrations per the recent Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Covid-19 update.
All surfaces thoroughly cleaned before and after every course
Antibacterial wipes issued for use during the course
Reduced class sizes in line with social distancing rule of one person per four square metres
Rest assured we have always set the benchmark in practising industry-leading hygiene measures. At this time, we do so with added vigilance.
There is some published evidence throughout the world that there are some delays associated with the concern about COVID and even evidence in Victoria suggesting some delays may have resulted in halving of the hospital survival rate for these people who have cardiac arrests out of hospital.

The Australian Bat Lyssavirus (ABLV) forms part of the same family as the rabies virus. ABLV infects all four species of fruit bats and flying foxes in Australia. In humans, ABLV can cause respiratory difficulties, coma and, in most cases, death.
